American DVBE, Inc. offers a wide range of goods and services, including dump trucking, water trucks, aggregate hauling, construction support, software development, IT consulting, IT project management, IT technical support, accounts payable and professional engineering services. We have a team of experienced professionals who are skilled in these areas and are committed to providing high-quality work to our clients.

Our primary focus is on providing goods and exceptional services to government agencies and prime contractors. We are certified by the state of California and Federal Government as a DVBE, which enables us to compete for contracts with State and Federal Agencies, and support prime contractors in meeting their DVBE goals.

As a DVBE company, we are dedicated to hiring and supporting veterans. This not only helps us provide better service to our clients, by leaning on and developing the skills of our workforce, but also helps us build a stronger team.

Chris Duffy

PE

Chris grew up in a small Northern California farming town, learning work ethic from his parents on a hunting club and local farms. After high school, he served as an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force from 1999 to 2004, earning an honorable discharge. Post-military, he managed a hunting club and then earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Chris has held various roles in both public and private sectors and is a licensed professional engineer in California. He has expertise in storm water management, project management, construction plan review, and construction inspection.

Whyatt nixon

PE

Whyatt Nixon, from Paradise, California, developed a strong work ethic from his nurse mother and contractor father. He earned a Civil Engineering degree from CSU Chico, where he met his wife. After working in the Bay Area, he returned to be near family and advance his career in land surveying and development, becoming a licensed civil engineer. Whyatt works on projects like subdivisions and storm drain systems, contributing to his community's growth. He enjoys coaching soccer, playing tennis, camping, and friendly competitions in billiards, corn hole, and board games.

Nicholas Quedens, L.S.

LEAD LAND SURVEYOR

Nick Quedens is a licensed land surveyor with nine years of experience in his field. Originally from Paradise, CA, he graduated from California State University, Chico, where he found his passion for civil engineering. Outside of work, Nick enjoys working in his yard, traveling with his wife and daughter, and sharing a good laugh. A sports enthusiast, he loves both watching and playing games. With a blend of professional expertise and a great sense of humor, Nick leads a dynamic and fulfilling life.

Camilo Velasquez Hidalgo

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Camilo Velasquez, a mechanical engineer from MedellĂ­n, Colombia, moved to California for better personal and professional growth. With a background in the sandblasting industry, he has transitioned to a career in land surveying. Passionate about motorsports and mechanics, Camilo enjoys speed and innovation. He loves nature and values family time, believing strong family bonds enrich life. Additionally, he has a special affection for animals, reflecting his commitment to the environment and life's joys.
