What happens after you send a request?

Four steps from your message to the start of work.

  1. We review your request

    We review the site location, the service you chose, and any agency requirements or deadlines you mentioned.

  2. We ask what we still need

    If the scope depends on details such as a parcel number, a title report, or a plan set, we ask for them by email or phone.

  3. You receive a proposal

    The proposal sets out the scope, deliverables, fee, and schedule, so you know what you will receive before any work starts.

  4. Work starts when you approve

    Once you accept the proposal, we schedule the fieldwork or design work it describes.

  • Find or mark your property lines

    A boundary survey locates the lines and corners described in your deed.

  • Design a building, grading, or drainage

    Design usually starts from a topographic survey, followed by grading plans for the permit.

  • Buy, sell, or finance commercial property

    Lenders and title insurers often ask for an ALTA/NSPS land title survey.

  • Divide land or move a lot line

    Splitting a lot usually takes a parcel or subdivision map; moving a shared line takes a lot line adjustment.

  • Meet construction stormwater rules

    Many construction sites need a SWPPP and regular inspections while work is under way.

  • Document a building's flood elevation

    An elevation certificate is used for local floodplain permits and can support a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) request.
